Roots N Riddim NYC is proud to announce the return of the 4th annual “Brooklyn Roots” Outdoor Sound System Vinyl Reggae Series! One of summer’s most anticipated traditions! No shortcuts—just pure analog vibrations under the Brooklyn sun. Join us as we cultivate the culture and keep it growing.
The roots are running deep! For 4 years we’ve gathered to celebrate the heartbeat of our community through the power of the sound system and reggae music. This isn’t just a party, it’s a preservation of the craft. We’re inviting you to experience the warmth of authentic vinyl and the strength of our collective Riddims.
Free + Family Friendly + Live Performances + Local Vendors
We’re bringing the 5-way sound system across Brooklyn to the following locations:
- June 28th – To kickoff the summer we are back at the prime waterfront venue on the pier in Bay Ridge.
- July 26th – ‘The Roots Corner’ / Classon Playground (at Kent Ave.) in Williamsburg.
- August 30th – To close the series we’ll be on stage for “Brooklyn Roots Live” / Herbert Von King Amphitheater in Bed Stuy.
NOTE: These are early sessions (1PM – 6PM) with tighter time restrictions, so come out early!
